You can delete your Siamora account at any time. This page explains how, and what happens next.

How to delete your account

By email

Write to support@siamora.net from the email address linked to your account — if you use Sign in with Apple, write from your Apple ID address or the private relay address Apple gave us. Use the subject line “Delete my account”.

Deletion requests are handled by our support team by hand. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours, we confirm the request by email, and we carry it out within 15 days.

What gets deleted

• Your profile: nickname, date of birth, gender, bio and every optional field you filled in.
• Your photos and chat images, deleted from our storage.
• Your account itself: your email address, your password and every signed-in session.
• Your likes, passes and matches.
• Your conversations, with the messages and images in them.
• Your location data and your verification status.
• Your push notification tokens, so notifications stop.

Deleting removes your conversations for both sides: the people you were chatting with lose those conversations too, not only your messages.

What we keep

• Reports and the copies saved with them (the reported profile and part of the conversation), for 12 months, even if you or the reported person delete the account in the meantime.
• Crash reports that contain only an internal user id, until our crash-reporting provider’s retention period ends, and server logs, for a short time.
• Anything we are legally required to retain, for as long as the law requires.
• Your verification selfie is never kept — it is deleted right after the face comparison, long before this point.

Before you delete

• Deletion cannot be undone. There is no way to restore a profile once it is gone.
• Your matches and chats disappear for you and for the people you were talking to, and nobody can reach you in the app any more.
• If you only want a break, blocking, unmatching and hiding chats may be enough.
• Deleting your account does not cancel anything you bought elsewhere; the beta is free, so there is normally nothing to cancel.

Cannot sign in?

Email us at support@siamora.net from the address linked to the account and tell us what happened. If you cannot use that address, we may ask you for other details that prove the account is yours before we delete it — this protects you from someone else deleting your account.
